External Components
Interactive control with an Onkyo RI Dock is not working.
• Make sure the
cables and analog audio cables are connected correctly (see page 17). Connecting only an

• To control an Onkyo RI Dock, make sure the Input Display is set to DOCK (see page 21).

• Make sure the turntable has a built-in phono equalizer.
• If the turntable doesn't have a phono equalizer built-in, you must provide one.
Timers
The timers don't work.
• Make sure the clock has been set correctly (see page 38).
• Timed operation will fail if the CBX-100 is on at the specified On time, so make sure it's set to Standby (see page 42).
• The timer may overlap with another timer. If you program several timers, make sure they don't overlap (see page 40).
• If you press the [SLEEP] or [TIMER] button while a timed operation is in progress, the timer will be cancelled.
• To use an Onkyo RI Dock with a timer, you must set the Input Display to DOCK (see page 21), and connect the RI

Clock
AccuClock appears on the display frequently or the clock is not set properly.
• Make sure the AccuClock function is correctly configured for use with a specific station (see page 39).
• The signal from the station that the AccuClock function is configured to use is weak. Try another station (see page 39).
• The station that the AccuClock function is configured to use is not broadcasting CT (Clock Time) information or does
not support RDS. Try another station (see page 39).
• The AccuClock function cannot set the clock. Set the clock manually (see page 38).
• Once a power outage has been fixed, the AccuClock function will run automatically.
AccuClock no longer works after moving the CBX-100 or antenna.
• In step 4 of the "AccuClock with a Specific Station" procedure on page 39, try pressing the [CLEAR] button to change
the display to "FM---.--MHz," and then press the [YES/MODE] button.
• Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, wait 5 seconds or more, then plug it in again.
You want to turn off the AccuClock function.

Onkyo is not responsible for damages (such as CD rental fees) due to unsuccessful recordings caused by the unit's
malfunction. Before you record important data, make sure that the material will be recorded correctly.
The CBX-100 contains a microcomputer for signal processing and control functions. In very rare situations, severe
interference, noise from an external source, or static electricity may cause it to lockup. In the unlikely event that this
should happen, unplug the power cord, wait at least 5 seconds, and then plug it again.
