Problem solving guide
Problem
Dishes, cutlery and
glasses are not dry
or are flecked.
White residue is
visible on cutlery
and crockery,
clouding occurs on
glassware; film can
be wiped off.

Possible cause
The amount of rinse aid
may be insufficient, or the
rinse aid reservoir empty.
Crockery was taken out of
the cabinet too soon.
Combi tabs have been
used which have impaired
drying performance.
The dishwasher has been
set for 2 in 1 or Combi
tabs, even though this type
of detergent has not been
used.
Not enough rinse aid was
used.
There is no salt in the salt
reservoir.
An unsuitable combination
detergent has been used.
There is a fault with the
automatic water softening
system.
Remedy
Replenish the reservoir,
increase the dosage or
change the brand of rinse aid.
See "Before using for the first
time".
Leave it in for longer. See
Operation.
Set the Detergent type to
Normal, and fill the rinse aid
reservoir with rinse aid. (See
"Settings menu J, Detergent
type".)
Set the Detergent type for the
product being used. (see
"Settings menu J, Detergent
type".)
Reduce the dosage (see
"Settings menu J, Rinse aid").
Fill the salt reservoir. See
"Before using for the first time -
Filling the salt reservoir".
Change your detergent. Use a
standard liquid, tablet or
powder detergent, and fill the
salt and rinse aid reservoirs in
the dishwasher.
Call the Service Department.
