Troubleshooting Guide

Deep Fryer has no power
The unit is not plugged in
The magnetic cord is not
properly fastened
The control panel is not
properly seated
Cannot Change Settings
Cannot set the temperature
Cannot set the countdown timer
Oil is overflowing
Too much oil has been placed
indicated in the Fryer pot
Too much food has been placed
indicated in the frying basket
Using two different oils
The food is wet or covered with ice
Food is not browning
Foods are excessively thick, or
contain a lot of water / ice
The temperature of the oil is too low
Too much food is being added
to the basket
Unpleasant Odor
The oil is overused
Oil has been used in different foods
Recommended oil is not being used
Plug the unit into a 120 volt AC outlet
See figure 4 on Page 7 for proper
installation of the breakaway cord
See figure 2 on page 7 for proper
placement of the control panel
Ensure that the temperature is blinking
first before attempting to set.

You have already started the Countdown
timer. Cancel by pressing the On/Off
button and change settings

Do not exceed the MAX line of the
frying basket. You can also try frying
smaller batches.
Do not use the oil more than 8 times
Do not use the same oil for fish as you
do for other food items
