6-2. Changing procedure to needle feed and the adjustment (for LH-3528 only)

WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.

The procedure s the reverse of "6-. Changng
procedure to bottom feed and the adjustment".
Loosen hnge screw 1 , move needle bar rockng
rod 2 from needle rocking rod fixing base 3 to
needle bar rockng rod arm 4 , and fix it with hinge
screw 1 .
Replace the feed dog, the throat plate and, the
presser wth the components for needle feed.
Loosen setscrews 6 and 9 (2 places) n sprocket
5 . Loosen the setscrews n the order of 9 and 6 .
At ths tme, remove the setscrew 6 whch s put
n screw hole C , and put t n screw hole A whch
is located on the opposite side at 180˚. (Fg. a)
Turn the pulley by 180˚ without turning the hook
driving shaft, align the flat section of the hook
drvng shaft wth screw hole A n sprocket 5 ,
and fix with setscrews 6 . It s the standard that
screw No.  8 n hook drvng shaft rear bearng
7 aligns with the flat section of the hook driving
shaft. (Fg. b)
Then fix screw No. 2 9 whch s put n screw hole
B n sprocket 5 as well.
