Variety of buttonholes
23 Square (Sensor) buttonhole
This square buttonhole is widely used on medium to
heavy weight fabrics.
The buttonhole size is automatically determined by
placing a button in the foot.
24 Square (Memory) buttonhole
This is also a square buttonhole similar to the sensor
buttonhole, but you can manually set and memorize the
buttonhole size to sew buttonholes of the same size.
This buttonhole is useful for bulky fabrics or when sewing
on uneven layers.
25 Round end buttonhole
This buttonhole is used on fine to medium weight fabrics
especially for blouses and children's clothes.
26 Fine fabric buttonhole
This buttonhole is rounded at both ends and is used on
fine, delicate fabrics such as fine silk.
27-29 Keyhole buttonholes
The Keyhole Buttonhole is widely used on medium to
heavy weight fabrics. It is also suitable for larger and
thicker buttons.
30-32 Stretch buttonholes
This buttonhole can be used on stretch fabrics. It can
also be used as a decorative buttonhole.
33 Welted buttonhole
This is a template pattern for the hand sewn welted
(bound) buttonhole.
NOTE:
Patterns number 25-33 are sensor buttonholes and
the sewing procedure is the same as pattern number
23.
