Configuring Several Button Boxes
If you are installing multiple button boxes, there are many different ways the devices
can be deployed. The optimal topology depends on various environmental factors,
such as whether the LAN is powered or not, and whether there are many Ethernet jacks
or only one. The illustration below shows four different topologies with each topology
best suited to the environmental factors in which it has been deployed. Note that each
topology assumes four BB24' s will be deployed. If you are deploying two or more
button boxes, please take a moment to review the illustration to learn which topology
best meets the demands of your environment.
