Installing a hard disk drive

Take the new hard disk drive out of its packaging.

Make the required jumper settings (e.g. master/slave, cable select) on the drives.
Please refer to the hard disk guide provided with the hard disk.

Slide the hard disk into the case in the direction of the arrow (2).

Secure the hard disk to the casing by fastening two screws from the bottom of the case in
the direction of the arrow (1).

Connect the power and data cables to the hard disk drive.
6
Close the casing (see "Closing the casing").
It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
