Power supply button
Pressed in the following cases.
When the main unit of the personal computer is powered on
When the personal computer is in standby status (power saving status)
When the personal computer is resumed from standby status

Power indicator
Shows the status of the power to the main unit of the personal computer.
Lit in green when the computer is powered.
Lit in orange when the computer is in standby mode (power saving status)

Optical drive
The optical drive allows users to play music CDs, DVD Videos and CD-ROMs.
Users can also write data on various DVD and CD rewritable medias.
Note:
Writing capability of the optical drive will depend on the optical drive that is bundled with the desktop.

Floppy disk eject button
Pressed to eject a floppy disk.
Do not press this button when the floppy disk access indicator lights up.
10 Floppy disk drive (optional)
Used to write data to a floppy disk or to read data from a floppy disk.
11 Floppy disk access indicator
Lights up when data is being written to a floppy disk or when data is read from a floppy disk.
12 Built-in 11 in 1 card reader/writer
The card reader/writer allows users to copy data to and from the following memory card formats:
MS, MS PRO, SD, MMC, CF, SM and Micro Drive.
13 Vent
On the top of the computer there is an opening through which heat is forcibly discharged from the
computer. Note that the vent must not be blocked by objects.
When placed horizontally, position the computer at a location where the vent is more than 20 cm
away from the wall.
14 Disc access indicator
Lights up when data is being written to the hard disk, or when data are read from the hard disk/
Optical drive or when an audio CD is played. Some optical drives may light up when access is
made to the a CD.
