Setting up the Network
4 Press tile (A/V arrow) buttons to select Network Name, and
then press tile OK button.
Tile Software Keyboard window appears.
5 Input tile Network Name using tile Software Keyboard. For
more information, see "Using the software keyboard" on
page 139.
6 To save your settings, press tile BLUE button.
7 Press tile (A/Y arrow) buttons to highlight Authentication.
Press tile (4/_ arrow) buttons to select Open/Shared,
WPA-PSK, or WPA2- PSK
8 Press tile (A/Y arrow) buttons to highlight Eneryption. Press
tile (,_/_ arrow) buttons to select None, WEE TKIE or AES.
NOTE Certainencryption typesareonlycompatible with specific
authentication t ypes.
¢ WhenAuthentication i s Open/Shared, onlyWEPor Noneare
compatible.
¢ WhenAuthentication i s WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK, onlyTKIPor
AES arecompatible.
Whenincompatible Authentication/Encryption pairingsare
attempted, a warningmessage w ill bedisplayed, a ndno connection
attempt w ill bemadeuntil theincompatibility is resolved.
9 Press the (&/y arrow) buttons to select Security Key, and then
press the OK button.
The Software Keyboard window appears.
10 Input the Security Key using the Software Keyboard. For more
information, see "Using the software keyboard" on page 139.
11 To save your settings, press the BLUE button.
NOTE This itemis grayedoutwhenEncryption is setto None.
12 Select Done, and then press the OK button.
When Encryption is set to None, a message appears.
13 Press the (,_/_ arrow) buttons to select Yes, and then press the
OK button.
