TV Code Setting
Your VCR remotecontrol may be ableto
operate your TV. Iftheremora control
doesn't operate your"IV now, findyour
brand of TV on the list at right, and follow
the steps below to program
your remote

Point the remote control at your TV and
press the TV button. Then, press the
POWER
burton.IfyourTV comes on,
the other TV buttons (see pages 12 - 13for
details).
If your TV doesn't
come on, or if
the other buttons don't work, go to step 2.
Find the brand of your TV on the list
below; and remember
the number
to the
right of in
Press and release the MUTE button.
Within thirty seconds after releasing
the
,MUTE button, press and release the TV
button.
Within thirty s_conds after releasing
the TV
button, press the Number
buttons
to enter
the code for your TV brand.
For example,
if you fitave a Zenith TV. press Number
but-
tons O, 5.
Try step 1 again. If the remote corm-ot works
your TV, you're finished.

- 5, using mother code.
There is no
guarantee that the
remote control will
work your TV.

ton, to see if the remote control operates
your TV. If it doesn't,
go to step 2.

you replace the batteries
