PARENTAL
CONTROL
(PC)
Block Entire Source
• Press the Up/Down keys to
select Parental
Ctl.
• Press Left/Right keys to view
the PC Menu.
• Select Block Hours and use
Left/Right keys to set the
length of time PC will be
active: OFF, 12, 24, 48 or 72
hours.
• Select Block Source and use
Left/Right keys to completely
Block the current input
source.
• To block another source,
press SOURCE key and set
them to Block.
Block Individual
Channels
• Press the Up/Down keys to
select Parental
Ctl.
• Press Left/Right keys to view
the PC Menu.
l• Select Block Hours and use
Left/Right keys to set the
length of time PC will be
active: OFF, 12, 24, 48 or 72
hours.
• Select Block Channels and
use Left/Right and Up/Down
keys to select channels.
• Press SOURCE to set
channels to Block or Unblock.
• Press ENTER twice to exit PC and enter any 4-number password
when prompted to do so.
REMEMBER
THIS NUMBER!
TO RE-ACCESS
PARENTAL
CONTROL
WHILE IT IS ACTIVATED,
YOU
MUST ENTER THIS NUMBER.
Otherwise, simply allow the
specified period of time to elapse.
NOTE:
• Do not unplug the TV in an attempt to deactivate the Parental Con-
trol. This only resets Parental Control.
• If you re-access Parental Control while it is activated to block addi-
tional channels or sources, or to reset the time period, upon exiting
you will be prompted to change the password.
Either press
ENTER to accept the current password or enter a new 4-number
password.

Caption 1, Caption 2, Caption
3 And Caption 4.

Captions
(From
Setup Menu)
Press the Up/Down keys to
select Caption/Text.
Press Left/Right keys to
toggle through the nine
choices: Off, Caption 1,
Caption 2, Caption 3, Caption
4, Text 1, Text 2, Text 3, Or
Text 4.
NOTE:
• At present, very few TV programs or video tapes offer text caption-
ing for any option other than CAPTION 1. Therefore, CAPTION
1 is the only recommended choice, unless you know that a specific
program is providing captioning using one of the other selections.
