How to Install Indoor Dipole "Rabbit Ears" Antenna
Procedure Getting the Best Picture
1. Mount the antenna _] on the "IN,by
pushing it into the socket [-_ on the
back of the set.
2. Loosen the screw terminals _'] on
the antenna adaptor [_].
3. Insert the wires from the antenna un-
der the screw terminals on the an-
tenna adaptor [_] and tighten.
4. Push the antenna adaptor [] onto
the socket on the back of the TV
[_], being careful not to bend the
center pin in the antenna adaptor.
You will obtain the best picture by turn-
ing the antenna, changing the angle be-
tween the elements, or changing their
length by pushing or pulling the elements
in or out, or any combination of these.
Usually, Vlff stations (channels 2
through 13) will be received better when
the elements are extended. Also, UHF sta-
tions (channels above 13) will be received
better when the elements are shortened.
Removing Antenna
Turn antenna about 90 degrees relative to
the TV, and pull upwards.
