The camera can be used with third-party Eye-Fi
cards; for more information see the manual pro-
vided with the card or contact the manufacturer.

Pictures taken with the camera are up-

OFF OFF Pictures are not uploaded automatically.

Observe local regulations regarding the use of wireless
devices when using Eye-Fi cards. Select OFF in aircraft,
hospitals, and other locations where the use of wireless
devices is prohibited; note that even when the camera
is turned off, wireless transmission will continue until
upload is complete.

If a memory card is inserted in the camera, this
option will format the memory card. If no memo-
ry card is inserted, this option will format internal
memory.

• All data—including protected pictures—will be de-
leted from the memory card or internal memory. Be
sure important files have been copied to a computer
or other storage device.
• Do not open the battery-chamber cover during for-
matting.
