• If you purchase a DCX640 extra handset,
please register
the handset to the originaL/main
base before use. The DCX640 wiLL not operate
until
it is registered.
• If you change a GLobaL setting
in one handset,
you change that particular
setting
for aU
registered
handsets.
ALLother
settings
(not included
under GLobaL Setup),
must be set
separately
through
each handset.
Connecting
the Charger
i) Connect the AC adapter to the DC IN 9V jack and to a
standard
120V AC waLL outlet.
2) Set the charger on a desk or tabletop,
and place the
handset
in the charger with
the keypad facing forward.
