6 Followsteps belowto install the mulchingbaffle:
a Lift the rear dischargedoor and lift the grass
catcherup and off of the pivot rod,if installed
b Insertthemulchingbaffleas shown in Figure5
and releasethe reardischargedoor
7 To convertto sidedischarge,makesure grasscatcher
is off the unit and rear dischargedoor is closed
a On theside of the mower,lift the mulchingplug
b Slidetwo hooksof side-discharge chute under
hingepin on mulchingplug assembly Lowerside
mulchingplug See Figure6 Do notremovethe
side mulchingplugat any time,evenwhenyouare
notmulching

the rear bft wheel See Figure7
a Pullthe leverout and awayfromthe mower
b Movethe leverforwardor backfor desiredcutting

c Rebase levertowardsmowerdeck
9 The adiustmentwheelis locatedin the drivecontrol
handlehousingand is usedto tightenor loosenthe
drive belt Youwill haveto adiustthe drivecontrolif
any of the followinghappens:
a The mowerdoesnot propelitselfwith the drive
controlengaged
b The mower'sdrive wheelshesitatewith thedrive
controlengaged
If eitherof these conditionsoccur,rotatethe adiustment
wheelclockwiseto tightenthe cabb and counter-clocb
wise to loosenthe cabb to adjustthe drivecontrol See
