DIGITAL AUDIO OUT -- Optical
audio output in
Dolby Digital or PCM (pulse-code modulation)
format for connecting an external Dolby Digital
decoder, amplifier, A/V receiver, or home theater
system with optical audio input.
HDMI 'M IN -- High-Definition
Multimedia Interface
input receives digital audio and uncompressed
digital video from an HDMI device or
uncompressed digital video from a DVI device. Also
see item 4. HDMI connection is necessary to receive
1080p signals.
PC IN -- For use when connecting a personal
computer.
PC/HDMI 1 (AUDIO) IN -- PC audio
input terminal
is shared with HDMI i analog audio input terminal,
and its use can be configured in the Audio Setup
menu (_ page 51).
ColorStream ® H D1 and ColorStream ® H D2 --Two
sets of ColorStream ® high-definition component
video inputs (with standard stereo audio inputs) for
cmmecting devices with component video output,
such as a Toshiba DVD player with ColorStream_'L
Note: Component video cables carry only video
information; separate audio cables are required for a
complete connection_

VIDEO 1 IN -- Standard

Fixed Audio OUT -- Analog audio outputs for
connecting an audio amplifier.
IF! OUT -- For controlling infrared remote-
controlled devices through the TV. You can connect
up to two devices with an optical IR blaster cable (_i_
page 12), and then control the devices using the TV's
IR pass-through features.
Service port -- For service use only. Used
for
updating the television's firmware.
ANT/CABLE -- Input that supports analog (NTSC)
and digital (ATSC) off-air antenna signals and
analog and digital Cable TV (QAM) signals.
