lithium batteries, or Ni-Cd batteries) than tile

o_ erheat, or explode, causing the danger of
burns or other injuries,

d_ulgerol leaks, excessive beat, explosions, or
electric shock.
• When charging a high capacity battery <)tiler
than the supplied battery using the supplied
battcl T charger, tile fifll capacity of tile battery
may not be available.
• When tile CHARGE lamp flashes, this may
indicate a battel T error or tlaat batteries other
tllan the specified type have been inserted.
Check that the batteries are the specified type. If
the batteries are the specified type, remove all
the batteries,

_ OnNickel-MetalHydride batteries
• Do not peel oil tile exterm,l sea,is or damage tim
batteries. Never use batteries lrom whicll the
seals have been partially or completely
removed, or baaeries that have been split in any
way. Tfiese may cause leakage, explosion, or
heal-up of the battely, and personal scald or
injury may be caused. These may cause a
mallunction of the battery charger.
• Always carry the Nickel-Metal Hidride batteries
in the supplied battery case. Otherwise, metallic
objects may short the + and - ends, resulting in
file risk of beating or fire.
• If the poles of the Nickel-Metal Hydride
batteries am dirty, the baucries may not charge
properly. Wipe them with a dlT cloth, etc.
• At the tilnc of purchase, or when the Nickel-
Metal Hydride batteries have not been u_d lk_ra
long time, they may not fifll charge. Tfiis is
typical of Ibis type of battc W, and is not a
