This ilem appears unly when a "Menlury Slick Duo" is inserted in the camera.
The defaull settings are marked wilh _.
Formats the "Memory Stick Duo". A commercially available "Memory Stick Duo" is already
formatted, and can be used immediately.
• Note that lormauing irrevocably erases all data on a "Memory Stick Duo", including even protected
images.
_¢_ OK See the following procedure. Cancel Cancels Ihe formatting.

The message "All data in Memory Stick will be erased Ready'?" appears.

A new lk)lder is crealed wilh a number incremented one higher Ihan the largest number, and Ihe
folder becomes Ihe current recording folder.

• When not creating a new lk)lder, the "lOl MSDCF" lkdder is selected as lhe recording fl_lder.
• You can create lolders designated up to ' 999MSDCFY
• Images are recorded in tile newly created lk)lder until a diflcrcnl lolder is created or selected.
• You cannot delete a lolder with the camera. To delete a lolder, use your computer, etc.
• Up to 4.000 images can be stored in one lolder. When the R_lder capacity is exceeded, a new Rdder is
aulonlalically crcaled.
