Recordingpictures from a VCR
You call record movies from a VCR on a
tape. You call record a scene as a still image
on a "Memory Stick Duo." Be sure to insert
a cassette or a "Memory Stick Duo" for
recording in your camcorder beforehand.
YOU call conuect your camcorder to a
VCR
device using all i.LINK cable.
Connect your camcorder to the wall outlet
using tbe supplied AC Adaptor lk_r tbis
operation (p. 14). Refer also to the
instruction manuals supplied witb tbe
devices to be connected.

/ Slide the POWER switch to turn
on the PLAY/EDIT lamp.

Set the input signal of your
camcorder.
Set [VCR HDV/DV] to [AUTO] when
recording fron/an HDV format
compatible device.
Sel [VCR HDV/DV] to [DV] or
[AUTO] wlmn recording from a DV
fornml compalible device (p. 57).

Connect your VCR as a player to
your camcorder.

LCD screen of your camcorder (This
indicator may appear on the screen of the
playback device, however, il will not be
recorded).

Insert a cassette into the VCR.
* An i.LINK jack which is colnpalible wilh
HDV 1080i specification is required.
Operate your camcorder to record
movies.
