Dubbingto VCR/DVD devices
You can copy pictures played back on your camcorder to other recording devices, such as VCRs
or DVD recorders.
Afler dubbing them to all HDD (hard disk drive) vide() recorder, you can er_ioy images stored
on the hard disk of the recorder.
Counect your camcorder to the wall outlet using the supplied AC Adaptor lkwthis operation
(p.21). Refer also to the instruction manuals supplied with the devices to be connected.

When connecting to anotllcr device via tile S
VIDEO jack, by using an A/V connecting cable
with an S VIDEO cable (optional), higher
quality pictures call be produced than with an
A/V connecting cable. Connect file white and
red plug (lel}/right audio) and the S VIDEO
plug/S VIDEO channd) of the A/V connecting
cable with all S VIDEO cable (optional). The
yellow plug connection is not necessal T. S
VIDEO connection only will not output audio.
• To hide the screen indicators (such as a counlcr,
etc.) on file screen of the nlonitor dc_ ice
connected, sel [DISP OUTPUTI 1o [LCD
PANEL] lille delimh setting, p.80).
• To record the datc/time and camera settings dala,
display llmm on lhe screen (17.79).
• When you arc connecting your calncorder to a
monaural dcx ice, connect the yellow plug of the
A/V connecting cable to the video input .jack, and
the red (right channel) or tile white (left channel)
plug to the audio input jack on the VCR or the TV.
