Searching
for the
beginning

During playback,

songs you want to skip forward
(or backward).
The search direction,

(backward),
and the number of songs being
skipped (1--9) appear in the display.

• When a tape is instated, coriesponding presence
indicator light up.
• If you press TAPE A/B (or TAPE on the ielnote)
while the power is of£ the powm turns on
automatically and TAPE is selected as a fimction
• If you press "q_

on the remote) during
"TAPE A" fimcfion and there is no tape in Deck A,
the system automatically switches to "TAPE B"
fimction when there is a tape in Deck B Then.

You can record a whole disc into a tape.
You can use TYPE I (normal)
tape. The
recording
level is adjusted
automatically.

Load a recordable tape into Deck B.
Press CD and load a disc you want to
record.
Press CD SYNC.
Deck B standby for recording.
"REC PAUSE, START" indicator flashes.
