• This function allows the u ser to select the f i{e n aming format.
• Assigning File Names
1. I n any mode with the e xception of V oice
Recording mode, press the M ENU button.
2. P ress the L EFT/RIGHT button and select the
[SETUP] menu tab.
3. S elect the [ FILE] menu by pressing the U P/
DOWN button and press the R IGHT button.
4. S elect adesired sub m enu by pressing the U P/
DOWN button and press the O K b utton.
[SERIES] :New files are n amed using numbers that follow the p revious
sequence, even when anew memory card is used, or a fter
formatting, or a fter deleting all pictures.
[RESET] :After using the r eset function the n ext file n ame will be set from
0001 even after formatting, deleting all or i nserting anew m emory
card.
5. P ress the m enu button twice and the m enu wilt disappear.
-The first stored folder name is 100SSCAM, and the f irst file n ame is $5030001.
•The file n ame of A 403 is $4030001.
-File names are a ssigned sequentially from S 5030001 _S5030002 _~
S5039999.
-The folder number is assigned sequenfially from 1 00 to 999 as follows:
100SSCAM _ 101SSCAM _~_999SSCAM.
-The flies used with the m emory card conform to the D OF(Design rule for
Camera File systems) format.
[ Auto power off]
==This function switches the camera off after a set amount of time in order to
prevent unnecessary battery drainage.
® Sub menus
[OFF] : The power off functionwill not operate.
[1,3, 5 MIN] : The power wiltturn off automatically if
not used for the period of time
specified.
÷ After replacing the battery, the power off setting wiil be preserved.
Note that the automatic power off function witl not operate if the camera is in
PC mode, slide show playing back a voice recording, playing back a movie
clip or taking a composite shot.
[ Language ]
g There is a choice of languages that can be disptayed on the LCD monitor.
Even if the battery is removed and inserted again, the language setting will be
preserved.
- LANGUAGE sub menu : English, Korean, French,
German, Spanish, italian, S.Ohinese, T.Ohinese,
Russian, Portuguese Dutch Danish, Swedish,
Finnish Thai BAHASA (MALAY/INDONESIAN),
Arabic, Hungarian, Czech Polish and Turkish.
