Troubleshooting
Most
problems
you
encounter
with
your
TV you
can
correct
by consuhing
the
"Doubleshooting
list that
tk)llows.
TV Problems
TV won't
turn on
Press the ['V button.
Make sure the TV is plugged h_.
Check the, wall receptacle
(or extension cord) to make' sure it is 'live' by plugging
in something
else.
Something
might be wrong with your remote control. Press the PO_ER
button on the front of the TV. If the TV turns on, check the
remote control solutions
on p. 56.
The front panel controls may be locked (disabled).
Use the remote control to unlock the flont panel controls by selecting the Fr(mt
Pail44 B[o(2_¢ i ll the Pare_ital Controls menu and choosing
View.
Controls don't work
If you're
using the remote
control,
press the" ['V button
first to make sure the' remote
is in ['V mode.
The front
panel
controls

and then turn the TV on again.

the voltage in your house may be abnormally
high or low.
TV turns on unexpectedly

Noisy stereo
reception
The station might be weak.
Press the SOUND button on your remote control to change from stereo to mono.
