To block program content:
1. Determine tile lowest level of conwnt yotl don't want tile child to walch.

[se tile up and down arrow buttons on tile remote to scroll through tile
age-based ratings until tile rating that corresponds with tile lowest content
you do not want tile child lo watch appears. (In tile example above, you
would scroll through tile ratings until tlle TV-PG rating appeared.)
3. Press tile right arrow button to move tile highlight to tile field
corresponding with tile content theme you want Ioblock out.
4. Press the lip or down arrow buKon to change content sta[tlS

All higher ratings' content theme will automatically change to/3.

Note: Broadcasters are not required Io provide content themes or age-
based ratings. Programs received with no corttent tbemes u ill only, be

Viewing Specific Content Themes
If you block specific con_nt themes, you have die option of going back and
changing some of the content th_,ln_s back to (V) View:
1. Determine tile content themes yotl want lo change to (V) View.
2. [se tile up and down arrow buttons to scroll through tile age-based ratings
until tile rating whose content theme you want to change to Vieu appears.
3. Press tile right arrow button to move tlle yellow highlight to a particular
content theme status, such as tile /3 under language (L) corresponding with
TV-14.
4. Press tile tip or down arrow billion to change its status back to K Yotlr
child would then be able to watch programs with TV-14 adult language
content, but not progralns with TV-PG or TV-MA language conwnt.
Note: Ortly the cor_l*,nt theme status corresponding to 7U-14
(L) tangJ_a_,_, changes to (_9 Vieu. ttigber rated conh, nt themes, snob as

V-Chip Movie Rating Limit
_m set movie rating limits by blocking movies rated above a specified level.
How to block movie ratings and view movie ratings is explained in tile next two
sections.
To access tile V-CHIP MOVTE RAThVG LL'_Ifl nlenu:
1. Press MENU on tile remote control (tile 7YMALN<'IlENUappears).
2. Select Parental Controls (press 6).
3. Select V-Chip Movie Rating Limit (press 2).
