Problem Solution
Timer recording not made or wrong program • Program entered incorrectly (wrong channel or times).

• Power interruption.
• Check to see if time and date are correct -- including AM/PM.
• Program exceeded tape's length or tape was not rewound beforehand.
• No tape in TV/VCR, or cassette ejected if safety tab broken off.
• For timer programs, make sure the unit is turned off in order to record.
Clock shows incorrect time or date • Power interruption
• Clock was not set accurately (check AM/PM and date)
TV/VCR makes noise when stopped • TV/VCR is removing tape from heads This is normal The head cylinder
inside the TV/VCR will continue to rotate for a few minutes after you put the
VCR in the stop mode
Will not auto channel search active • Check antenna or cable connections
channels correctly • Check signal type setting See page 4
Cannot see closed captions on screen • Closed caption function must be set to on
• Station may not be broadcasting closed captions

Tape plays over and over • Block Repeat or True Repeat functions have been turned on
