On-screen Program Guide
Description:
Tbe
GUIDE
Plus+ system
is an on-screen
interactive
list of
programs
and
information
that is built into your TV. You can scroll through
the guide
to see what's
on and
rune direcdy
to that program
fi-om the guide.
You can also browse
programs
by categol T with the sort [_.ature.
When
you access
the News feature,
MSNBC
will appear
in your video
window
if
it's available
through
your TV.
One-Touch
VCR Recording
is another
benefit
of the GUIDE
Plus+ system.
You
don't
have to remember
to program
your VCR or use the menus
in your VCR
to set up a recording.
Requirements:
•
Remove
the Demo
Pin from
the G-LINK jack.
•
Complete
the on-screen
interactive
setup. You'll find derailed
instructions
in Chapter
1.
•
One-Touch
VCR Recording:
You must
connect
the G-LINK
cable to the TV
and
place one of the wands
in front
of the remote,
sensor
on the VCR.
•
If you have a cable box, connect
the G-LINK
cable to the TV and place
one
of the wands
in fi'ont
of the remote
sensor
on the cable box.
PIP (Picture-In-Picture)
Description:
PIP lets you wawb
two channels
at one
time -- one cbannel
on
the main
screen
and the other
in a smaller
window.
Requirements:
Connect
audio/video
cables m your TV and m another
component
that has a tuner (a VCR or a satellite, receiver),
Your TV has one tune_; which means it can tune to one channel
at a time. You
must set up a second component
(VCR or satellite receiver) to act as the
second tuner in order fi:)r PIP m work. Chapter
1 and Chapter

instructions.
