TV ANT Lets you connect a coaxial cable to receive the signal from the antenna, cable, cable box, or if using the example on page 4, a VCR.     Turn on the TV Press TV on the remote, or press POWER on the TV’s front panel. Note: Pressing the TV button not only turns on the TV, but puts the remote into TV mode. “TV mode” means that the buttons on the remote control operate the TV’s functions. SETUP Go Back Auto Ch.

    Button Descriptions for Other Modes AUX Puts the remote in AUX mode. Can also be programmed to operate most brands of an additional remote-controllable component. ANTENNA In VCR mode, functions as a TV/VCR button. In SAT•CABLE mode, functions as a TV/receiver button. DVD Puts the remote in DVD mode and, if auto tuning is enabled, will turn on the TV and tune to the correct video input channel.

    Programming the Remote to Operate Other Components The universal remote can be programmed to operate most brands of remote controllable components. The remote is DVD, VCR2, already programmed to operate most RCA, GE, and Proscan AUX and components. SAT•CABLE buttons Also, the AUX button can be programmed to operate most brands of an additional remote-controllable component.
