Shown here is a simplified method
of connecting
a VCR to
your "IV. The preferred method
(using a 2-set signal splitter)
is shown above. On many VCR's,
turning
them on causes
the V,CR's TV/VCR
switching to disconnect
the antenna
signals from the TV. By using a signal splitter to run
separate
signals to the VCR and TV, you can view TV
programs or VCR tapes and not be concerned
about the
position of the VCR's
IV/VCR
switch.
Note: The audio/video
connections
from the VCR to the "IV
are optional;
however, these additional connections
usually
produce a better-quality
picture during VCR playback.
These
eonnectiom
are required, however, for stereo playback
from stereo VCR's.
Operation:
• If the VCR is connected to INPUT #1 as shown, press
TV, then number buttons 9 then 1 to view whatever the
VCR is playing.
• If you connect
an audio/video
device to INPUT
#2,
press 71I, then number
buttons
9 then 2 to vi_v whatever
that device is playing.
• If you connect an audio/video device to INPUT #3,
press TV, then number buttons 9 then 3 to view whatever
that device is playing.
