Sound from your TV comes through
the TV's internal
speakers
unless you
turn the speakers
off.
You will normally
leave the TV's
internal
speakers
turned on unless you
connect either:
1) a separate
set of external
speakers
to the speakerjaeks
on
the back of the TVor
2) an amplifier
(with its own set of
speakers)
to the appropriate
jacks
on the back of the "IV.

If you connect
a separate set of speakers
to the TV's speaker jacks,
move the
SPEAKERS
switch on the back of the
'IV to the EXTERNAL
position.

Thi_ turns off the TV's intemal
speakers
and allows sound to come through
the
external
speakers connected
to the "IV.

speakers
to the TV

If you connect
an amplifier
(with
separate
speakers
connected
to the
amplifier),
you may want to turn off
the TV's speakers
so sound will only
come through
the speakers
connected
to the amplifier.
1. Press AUDIO
button
repeatedly
until "-"
and "+"
marks move
down to line labeled "SPEAKERS:
ON/OFF".

or "+"
button
to turn
off TV's speakers.

This turns off not only the TWs
internal speakers but also any external
speakers
connected
to the 'IV. Sound
will then come through the speakers
connected
to the amplifier, since the
TV's speakers
are turned off.
Note: Press "-"

again to turn speakers back on.
