Turning On V-Chip Ratings
Once you have selected _e TV m_ing and movie rating you want to [)lock, you
must turn the V-CHIP on to set the ratings.
To turn on lhe V-CHIP:
1.
Press MENU on the remote ([he MENUappears).
2.
Select TVSt]'T-UP, then press ENTER.
3.
Select V-CHIP St]'T, lhen press ENTER.
4.
Enter your password,
then press ENTER (the V-CHIP Sk'Tmenu
appears).
5.
Select V-CHIP, then press ENTER (051 appears
next to V-CHIP).
6.
Press the MENU bulton until the MENUscreen
disappears.

Changing
the Password
If you want [o change die password
after it has been set:
1. Press MENU on the remote 0he M/_2VUappears).
2.
Select TVSk"I:UP, then press ENTER.
3.
Select V-CHIP St]"I;then press ENTER.
4.
Enter your original password
using the number
buttons on your remote
control, then press ENTER.
5.
Select C_Gt]'PA£5'WORI),
then press ENTER.
6.
Enter a new password
using die number
buttons on your remote control,
then press ENTER.
7.
Once you've entered
a password,
enter the same password
again for
confirmation.
8.
Press the MENU bulton until the M/_2VUscreen disappears.
