LEVELING LEGS
Besuretheanti-tipbracketsecuresoneof
the rear levelinglegs to the floor. This
bracketpreventstherangefromacciden-
tally tipping.
Therangeshouldbe leveledwhen
installed. If the rangeis not level,
turn the plastic levelinglegs, lo-
catedat each comer of the
range, until range is
level.

To assure the proper replacement bulb is
used, order bulb from Maytag Customer
Service. Call 1.800.688-8408, ask for part
number 74004458. halogen bulb.
TO REPLACE OVENLIGHTBULB:
1. When oveniscool,usefingertips tograsp
edgeof bulbcover•Pulloutandremove.
2. Carefully remove old bulb by pulling
straight out of ceramicbase.
3. To avoiddamaging or decreasing thelife
ofthenewbulb,donottouchthebulbwith
barehandsorfingers.Ho[d witha clothor
paper towel. Push new bulb prongs
straight intosmallholes ofceramic base.
4. Replacebulb cover by snappinginto
place.
5. Reconnectpower to the range•Reset
clock•

RETAINER
TO REPLACE OVENLIGHTBULB:
t. When oven is cool, hold bulb cover in
place, then slidewire retainer o ff cover.
NOTE:Bulb cover will fall if not held in
placewhileremoving wireretainer•
2. Removebulbcoverandlightbulb.
3. Replace with a 40-wattappliance bulb.
4. Replacebulbcover and securewith wire
retainer.
5.Reconnect p owerto range•Resetclock.
