CLEAN PAD
Use to set a self-clean cycle. (Only one
ovenmaybecleanedata time.Bothovens
will lockwheneitheris beingcleaned.)
1. Clean oven
frame, door
frame (area
outside of
gasket) and
around the
opening inthedoorgasket w ith a nonabra-
sive cleanersuch as Bon Ami*.These
areas are not exposedto cleaningtem-
peratures,
2. Removeoven racks. If racksare left in
duringa cleancycle,itmayimpairfunction
and they willdiscolor.Turnoff the e_en
lightandclose door.
3. PressCLEANpad.
4. Pressthe AUTOSETpad for 3 hoursof
cleaningtime,pressagain for4 hoursand
againif 2 hoursof clean time is desired.
5. CLEANING and LOGplusthecleantime
will appearin the displayand bothovens
will lock.
6. When the clean cycle is complete,
CLEANEDwill be displayed. LOC will
remain o nuntil theoven hascooled ( approx.
I hour).

ovenisheavily soiled.Iris bettertoclean
theovenregularly ratherthantowait u ntil
thereis a heavybuildupof soil.
! Wipeup excessgreaseor spilloversto
prevent f lare-ups.Foreasein cleaning,
the bakeelementin the upperor lower
ovencanbeliftedslightly(1 inch).
I As the ovenheatsand cools,you may
hear soundsof metal parts expanding
andcontracting. T his is normaland will
notaffectperformance.
! Wipeupsugary andacidic spillovers such
assweetpotatoes, t omatoormilk-based
sauces priortoa self-clean cycle. Porce-
lain enamelis acid resistant,not acid
proofand may discolorif spills are not
wipedup beforea self-clean cycle.
! A white discoloration may appear after
cleaningifacidicor sugaryfoodsare not
wipedup beforethe cleancycle. This
discoloration is normal a nd will NOTaf-
fectperformance.
7. When theoveniscool, L OCwillnolonger
bedisplayed andthedoor may beopened.
8. Wipeout the oven interiorwith a damp
cloth.If soilremains itindicates thecycle
wasnotlongenough.
CLEANING
PROCEDURES
To CancelSelf-Clean Cycle:
1. PressCANCEL pad.
2. If LOC isNOTdisplayed,open oven door.
IfLOCisdisplayed, allowoven tocool.
To DelaytheStartofa Self-Clean Cycle:
1. Follow steps1-4above.
2. Press theSTOPTIMEpad. STOPTIME
willflash.
3. AsSTOPTIMEflashes, p ress theappro-
priate number pads toenter thetimeyou
wishtheoven tostop,
4. DELAY CLNandLOCwillbe displayed.
5, Whenthedelay period iscompleted and
cleaningbegins,CLEANING,LOCand
the clean timewillbe displayed.
BROILER PAN AND INSERT
>- Placesoapycloth overinsert a ndpan;
letsoaktoloosen soil.
>- Wash in warmsoapy water. U sescour-
ingpadtoremove stubborn s oil.
