SET UP FOR USE
CHANNEL
MEMORY PROGRAMMING
Use this feature to program the TVNCR tuner to scan and memorize all the channels you receive in
your area.
You can use this feature to memorize cable channels only if your cable system connects directly from
its wall outlet to the Antenna terminal of your TVNCR. You cannot use this feature when the TV/VCR
is connected to a cable or satellite box.

Plug in the TV/VCR power cord

standard AC outlet.

NOTE:
• If some digits appear in the corner of the
screen, press the POWER button to turn off the
set, and then press the POWER button again to
turn the set back on. This will reset the TV back
to customer mode. Do not unplug the power
cord during this reset,

Turn on the TV/VCR
Press the POWER button to turn on the TVNCR.

The channels you no longer receive or seldom
watch can be deleted from the memory. (Of
course, you can add the deleted channel into the
memory again.)

memonzes all active channels in your area.
NOTES:
• The TV/VCR distinguishes between standard
TV channels and cable channels,
• If you want to play or record a video tape
BEFORE presetting the tuner, you must press
the MENU button on the remote control To
preset the tuner again, see "CHANNEL SET UP
AGAIN" on page 14.
• If reception conditions are poor, the TV/VCR
may recognize TV channels as CATV channels
or wceversa.
If this occurs, try running the
AUTO PRESET again when reception
conditions are better.
5 After scanning
The tuner stops on the lowest memorized channel
If you want to recall the selected channels, you can
select the desired channel directly with the remote

ADD I DELETE
4 Delete(or add) it from(or into)memory
Press the F.FVVDA_ or REW/<I button. The
channel numberchangesto light red.
The channel is deleted from memory.
If you press the F.FWD/I_ or REW/<I button
again, the channel numberchanges to light blue.
The channelis added to memory again.
To delete anotherchannel, repeat steps3 and 4.
5 Exit the channel setup mode
Press the MENU button on the remote control to
return to TV mode.
NOTE: Press the CHANNEL • or • button to
confirm that channel(s) have been deleted or added.
