Thehood attaches tothewall b yscrews d iscussed inthe
"Prepare Location" section.
1. Using 2ormore people, hang therange h ood onthetwo
mounting brackets and adjust themounting brackets from
inside thehood tomake thehood level.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure thattherange h ood issecurely
tightened against thewall.
2. Install the mounting screws i nto thewall u ntil t he screw heads
aretight. T he screws p rovided formounting thishood must
befastened intosolid wood. D onotfasten i ntosheet r ock
only.
3. Connect vent s ystem tohood. S eal alljoints withclamps.
4. Ifyourinstallation uses theoptional ductcover, fitthecover
flanges o ver t hebrackets. If installation uses thechimney
extension, fittheextension over t hebrackets. Install the
upper s ection f irst, t henfitthelower s ection o ver t heupper
section. Seal extension tohood withclamps.

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical
shock.
1. Disconnect
power.
2. Remove terminal box cover.
3. Remove the knockout in the terminal box and install a UL
listed or CSA approved V2"strain relief.
4.
Run 3 wires, black, white, green or bare, through strain relief
into terminal box. Use caulking to seal openings.

5. Use UL listed wire connectors
and connect black wires (B)
together.
6. Use UL listed wire connectors
and connect white wires (D)
together.
7. If optional heat lamp kit is used, connect black wires from
heat lamp with black wires from home power with UL listed
wire connectors.
Connect white wires from optional heat
lamp kit to home power with UL listed wire connectors.
Fire Hazard
Electrically ground the blower.
Use copper wire.
Connect
ground wire to green ground screw in
terminal
box.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or
electrical
shock.
8. Connect green (or bare) ground wire from home power supply
to the unused green ground screw (E) in the terminal box.
9. Tighten strain relief screws.
10. Install terminal box cover.
11. Check all light bulbs to make sure they are secure in their
sockets.
12. Reconnect power.
