5. Holding the thread with
both hands, draw the thread
down and around the
tension dial from right to
left.
6. Pull the thread up to insert
it between the tension disks
(F) and pass it over the tail
of the check spring. Pull the
thread down over the loop
of the check spring (G).
7. Draw the thread under
the thread guide (H) and
through the second thread
guide (I). Pass the thread
through the eye of the take-
up lever (J).
8. Pass the thread through the
thread guide (I) again.
9. Slip the thread into the
thread guide (K).
10. Draw the thread down to
the needle bar thread guide
(L), then pass the thread
through the needle eye.
