Cleaning Various Parts of Your appliance
Before cleaning
any part of the appliance,
be sure all controls
are turned OFF and the appliance

For general cleamng, use hot, soapy water and a cloth For more difficult
soils and bruit-up grease, apply a hquld detergent directly onto the soil
Leave on soil for 30 to 60 minutes
Rinse with a damp cloth and dry
DO NOT use abraswe cleaners on any of these materials, they can
scratch
Before cleaning the controlpanel,
turn all controls to OFF Dghtly spray
the control panel with a hquld cleaner
Wipe with a soft cloth or paper
towel
DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring
pads These can
permanently damage the control panel surface
Gentle scounng with a soapy scouring pad will remove most spots Rinse
with a 1 1solution ofclearwaterand
ammonia If necessary, coverdlfficult
spots with an ammonia-soaked
paper towel for 30 to 40 minutes Rinse
with clean water and a damp cloth, and then scrub with a soap-filled
scounng pad Rinse and wipe dry with a clean cloth Remove all cleaners
or the porcelain may become damaged dunng future heating
Clean with hot, soapy water and a dishcloth
Rinse with clean water and
a cloth Cover stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked
paper towel for
30 to 40 minutes
Rinse Cleaners made especially for stainless steel
are recommended
Be sure to nnse the cleaners as bluish stains may
occur during heating and cannot be removed
Oven racks and oven rack supports must be removed from the oven dunng
the self-clean cycle for cleaning
If they are not removed, the self-clean
cycle will not start Clean them as described above
Oven Door
To clean oven door, wash with hot, soapy water and a clean cloth DO
NOT immerse the door in water or clean the oven door gasket
Oven Door Gasket
The oven gasket located on the inner frame of the door and wslble when
the door is opened is essential fora good seal Care should be taken not
to rub, damage or remove the gasket
