For one year from the dateof purchase, when your SearsKenmore water heater is installed and operatedin a single-family residencein
accordance with the instructions in this manual, Searswill:
1. Repair d_fects in material orworkmarrthip in tiffs water heater, free of charge.
2. Furnishand install a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality, free of charge,if a leakoccursin the tank.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON TANKS THAT LEAK
After one year and through 12 years from the date of purchase for water heaters used in a single-family residence, if a leak occurs in the
tank, Sears will furnish a new current model water heater of equal capacity and quality. You will be charged for any installation.
LIMITED WARRANTY ON PARTS
After one year and through 12 years from the date of purchase, when your Sears Kenmorewater heater is used in a single-family residence
and isinstalled and operatedin accordance with the information in this manual,if a part fails due to a materials or workmanship, Sears
will furnish a replacementfree of charge. You will be charged for labor.
If the water heater is subjected to commerdal, institutional,industrial or use in residencesof two families or more, the above warranty
coverage for tanks that leakis effective for 2 years from the date of purchase and the above parts warranty is effectivefor I year from the
date of purchase.
