If you need to move refrigerator through narrow doorways, fol low these
steps to res_ve handles and/or refrigerator and freezer doors.
To Remove Handles
Full-l_gthTrim:
i Usingaputtyknife, c arefullyslidecornerofthebladeundertrinl. Slideblade
downuntilyoufindtrimlock. Carefully nmneuver blacle against trimlockfram
theside, a sshown. Note: Pressingdo_cn trin_lock fzun_above willnot r elease i t.
2 Carefullypushputtyknife fira&yaco_inst trin_lockandtwistgently. Trin_lockwill
snapfreefrcmdoor.(Each trimpiece willhavetwotrin_leeks. )

Grasp
trimandpullrpawayfrcmhandle usinga slight side-to-side motion.
& Removescrewsattaching handletodoor.
5 Repeatthesestepsforeachhandle end.Keepscrewsandtrimpieces.
6. Toreplace h andles ,linetiohandlewithscrewholes,
insert screws, andt%hten.
Slide tiope r andlower trinlpieces hackonhandle ends,andsnaptrimlccks hack
intoholes cndoorfrcnt.
To Remove Doors
Beforerenmving doors, be surefreezer ccntrolisturned toOFF. Remove alifcod
frcmdoore andunplugrefrigerator. Next,remove teegrill.
Trace aroundhinges withasoft leadpencil. Thiswill n mkeiteasier torealizn c hore
whentheyarereplaced. Cc_oletely removeonedoorbeforeremoving otherdoor.
FreezerDoor:
i Remove teegrill. (See Outsidein"Care andCleaning" s ectien. )
i Remove wiring coverlocated overlower hingeof freezer door.Coverisheldin
place byasingle s crew. (Illustratien i)
3.Todisccrmect wiringhaxnessplug ( ccrmector), positienyourself tobeableto
placeyourthtm_0s entheflatsides of eachconnector p iece.Bendbothparts
backandforth.Thenwitha firmgrasp, pullthetwopiecesapartasshown.
& Todisccrmect water line ,holdwaterlineellxmandpushinengraycollar, forcing
elbowdown,offfrc_tubethatrunsintodoor.
Place a strip of tapealcngdoorhottcm, over lowerhinge, a ndtiothe s ideofthe
door. Thiswillholdhingeinplacewhendoorisrenmved.
& Remove_ boltof lowerhinge.Loosen,but DO NOTR]94OVE, b ottc_bolt of
lower hinge.
7.Removetophingecoverby liftingbackofcoverandslidingforward. Re_ve
hingescrews frcmhinge bracket witha counter-clockwise motion.Note: Hir_e
hasminimalspringtension.Holdbracketwhen removinglastscrew.DO NOT
ren_vehingebracketfrc_door.
& Carefullyliftdcortioandoffl_lowerhingebolt.(Illustratien2)
Refrigerator Door:
i Removetophingecoverby liftingbackofcoverandslidingforward. Re_ve
hingescrews frcmhinge bracket witha counter-clcckwise motion.Note: Hir_e
hasminimalspringtension.Holdbracketwhen removinglastscrew.DO NOT
re_ve hingebracketfrc_door.
i Remove_ bolt of lowerhinge. Loosen,but DONOT Pd94OVE, b ottc_bolt of
lower hinge.
3.Carefully l iftdoortpandof ficosened lower hinge bolt.
Storedeors ina safeplace _ntilrefrigeratorisnmvedtodesirediccatien.Keepall
harc%ere forreinstallatien.
To Reinstall Doors
Toreinstalldoore, reverseinstructionsusedtore_mvedooms. Note:Toreinstall
waterline, pushelbowt[o, ontodoortube,untilcollartouches tubeink_mrkas
shownleft.
