and Doors

FROM TIIE SIDE AND GENTLY TWIST,

If i t is necessary tomove the refrigerator through narrow doorways, follow
these steps to relr_vethe handles and/or refrigerator and freezer doors.
To Remove Handles
Full -l_r_3th Trim:
i Usingaputtyknife, carefullyslidethecornerofthebladeunderthetrin_. Slide
blade de%nuntil y cufindthe trin_lock. Carefullynmneuver the blade against t he
trimlockfrcmtb_sideas shown.Note:Pressingdownon thetrimlockfrom
above will notrelease i t.
2 Carefullypush theputty knife fira£y against t hetrin_ lockandtwist gently. T he
trin_ icckwill srmp freefrcmthe chor.(Each t rin_piece wilihavetwotrin_ locks. )
3.Grasptrin_andpull tioawayfrc_handleusingaslight side-to-sidenmtion.
% Renmvescrews attaching handleto door.
5 Repeatthesestepsforeachhandle end.Keepscrews andtrimpieces.
& Toreplace handles , linetiohandlewithscrewholes, insert screws andtighten.
S1ideupper endlower trin_pieces hackcnhandle ends, endsnaptrimlocks hack
intoholes cndcor frcnt.
To Remove Doors
Before re_mving t hedooms, besurethefreezer ccntrol isturnedto OFF. Remove all
foodfromthedooms endunplug therefrigerator. Renmve thetoegrill.
Trace aroundthe h inges withasoftleadpencil. Thiswillnmkeiteasier torealign
thedoorswhentheyarereplaced. Cc_oletely ren_veonedoorbeforestarting
re_Dval oftheother.

Freezer Door:
i Renmve thetoegrill. (SeeOutside inthe ,,CareandCleaning,, secticn.)
2 Removethewiringcoverlocated overthelower hingeof thefreezer door.The
cover isheldinplace b yasingle screw. (lllustraticn i)
3.To_twiringharnesspluj (ccnnector), positicnyourself tobeableto
placeyourth_bs ontheflatsides ofeachconnectorpiece. Bendbothparts
hackendforth.Thenwitha firmgrasp, pulithetwopiecesapartas sho_vn.
% Todisccrnectwaterline, holdwaterlineelbswandpushincngraycollar, forcing
e_ down, offfromtubethatrunsintodoor.
Place a strip oftapealong thedoorhottcm, overthelower hinge endsptheside
ofthedoor.Thiswillholdthehingeinplacewhenthedoorisre_ved.
Removethe top screw of the lowerhinge. Loosen,but DO NOT Pd94OVE, the
bottcmscrewofthelower hinge.
7.Ren_vetophingecoverby liftinghack of coverandslidingforward. Ren_ve
hingescrews frc_hinge bracket withacounter-clockwise _mticn. Note: Hinge
has_dnimalspringtension.Holdbracketwhen removing iastscrew.DO NOT
ren_vehingebracketfrc_door.
g Carefullyliftthechorspandoffthel_lowerhingescrew.(Illustraticn2)
Refrigerator Door:
Re_ve tophingecoverby liftinghack of coverandslidingforward. Re_ve
hingescrews frc_hinge bracket withacounter-clockwise _ticn. Note: Hinge
has_dnimalspringtension.Holdbracketwhen removing iastscrew.DO NOT
re_ve hingebracketfrc_door.
Removethe_ screw of the lowerhinge. Loosen,but DO NOT Pd94OVE, the
bottc_screwofthelower hinge.
3.Carefully l iftthedoor sp endofftheloosened l ower hinge screw.
Store thechore inasafeplaceuntil therefrigerator is_mvedto the desired i ccaticn.
Ke_p all_ forreinstallaticn.
To Reinstall Doors
Toreinstall thedooms, reverse t heinstructicns usedtoremove thedooms. Note:To
reinstallwaterline, pushel_, cnto cbor tube, until collar t cuches t ube inknm_k
asshown left.
