Protecting Files

You can protect files from the accidental
erasure.
1 Set the power switch
to [_-].

the file type (video or still image)
using
the MODE switch.

Press MENU. The menu screen
appears.

[PROTECT],
then
press I_11.
To protect
the currently
displayed
file

• You can select the previous or next file by pressing

• To release protection,
select the protected file,
then perform step 5 and 6.

to protect,

• The O_ mark appears
on the file.
• To protect other files, repeat step 6.
• The scroll bar can also be used with the zoom
lever and pressing
