• Inserting aMemoryCard
1 Open the battery-chamber cover.
Open the battery-chamber cover as shown,
sliding the lock lever in the direction of the
arrow.

Be sure the camera is off before opening the
battery<ha m bet cover.

• Do not turn the camera on or offwhile the
battery<hamber cover is open. Failureto
observe this precaution could result in damage
to image filesor memory cards.
• Do not use excessive force when handling the
battery< hambet cover.

Insert the memory card.
Holding the memory card in the orientation
shown below, slide it all the way in.
• Be surecard
is at correct
orientation; do
not insert at an
angle or use
force.
• If the battery<hamber cover cannot be closed,
do not attempt to close it with excessive force,
check that the card is correctly orientated.
