O VOICE MEMO
To add a voice memo to a
still picture, select
0 VOICE MEMO after
displaying the picture in
playback mode.

Voice memos carl not be added to movies or
protected pictures. Remove protection from pictures
before recording voice memos (pg. 73).
Press MENU/OK to start recording.
Hold the camera at a distance of
about 20cm (8 in.) and face the
microphone.

Press MENU/OK again to end
recording. Recording ends
automatically after 30 seconds.

• If a voice memo already exists for the c urrent pictu re,the options at rig ht will be
displayed. Select RE-RECto replacethe existing memo.
• Voice memos are recorded as PCM-format WAVfiles (pg. 100)with a maximum sizeof
about 480 KB.
