::::iAIthough t ile camera boasts a high-precision autofocus system, it may be unable to focus on the subjects
::::ilisted b elow. Ifthe camera is unable to focus using autofocus, use focus lock (pg. 21)to focus on another
::::isubiect at tile samedistance and then recompose tile photograph.
::::i" Very shiny subjects such as mirrors or car bodies.
::i" Fast-moving subjects.
::i.Subjects photographed through a window or other reflective object.
::i.Dark subjects and subjects that absorb rather than reflect light, such as hairor fur.
::i.Insubstantial subjects, such as smoke or flame.
::i.Subjects that show little contrast with the background (for example, subjects in clothing that is tile same
::i color as tile background).
::i"Subjects positioned in front of or behind a high-contrast object that is also in tile focus frame (for example, a
subject photographed against a backdrop of highly contrasting elements).
