Cautions:Caringfor the Battery
• Tile only types of batteries you carl use are NP-45A
(supplied) and NP-45 (optional).
• Use only the camera to charge NP-45A. Failure to
observe this precaution could result in product
malfunction.
• Do not affix stickers or other ob]ects to the battery.
Failure to observe this precaution could make it
impossible to remove the battery from tile camera.
• Do not short tile battery terminals. The battery
could overheat.
• Do not remove the labels from tile battery or
attempt to split or peel the outer casing.
• The battery gradually loses its charge when not in
use. Charge tile battery one or two days before use.
• Read tile supplied documentation for additional
cautions concernirlg battery use.
Caution: B atteryLife
A noticeable decrease in the length of time tile
battery will hold a charge indicates that it has reached
the end of its service life and should be replaced.
Cautions:Chargingthe Battery
• Remove dirt from tile battery terminals with a clean, _,'
dry cloth. Failure to observe this precaution could
prevent the battery from charging. ._
• Charging times increase at low temperatures. _'
