Mode
(Close-ups)
For close-ups, press the selector left (_). The selection changes each time the selector is pressed.
When macro mode is in effect, the camera focuses on subjects near the center of the frame. Use the
zoom control to compose pictures.
To exit macro mode, press the selector left (_) and select OFF. Macro mode can also be cancelled by
turning the camera off or selecting another shooting mode.

• Useof a tripod is recommended to prevent blur caused by camera shake.
• The flash may fail to light the entire subject at very short ranges. Increasethe distance to tile subject and try
again.
