Make sure the slot h7the burner head
is positioned over the electrode. Usea
sewing needle or twist-tie to unclog
the small hole ll7the burner head.

Burner caps
I,ifl off when cool. _A'ashbm'ner caps
in hot, soapy water and rinse with clean
water: You may scorn" with a plastic scom_ing
pad to remove bm'ned-on toed particles.
Center griddle burner
For proper ignition, make sm'e the
small hole in the section that fits over the
electrode is kept open. A sewing needle
or wire twist-tie works well to unclog it.
The silts in the burner heads must be
kept
clean
at afl times reran even, unhampered flame.
Clogged or di m' bm'ner ports or electrodes
will not allow the bm'ner to operate i)roperly.
Any spill
on or arotmd an electrode inust
be careflfllv cleaned. Take care to not hit an
electrode with anything hard or it could
be damaged.
You should clean the bm'ner caps and
bm'ner heads routinely, espedally alter bad
spillove_s, which could clog the openings
in the burner heads. I,ift off when cool.
To remove bm'ned-on tood, soak the
burner heads in a solution ot mild liquid
detergent and hot water fi_r 90-30 minutes.

After cleaning
Betm'e putting the bm'ner caps and heads
back, shake out excess water and then dry
them thoroughly by setting in a wam_ oven
tor 30 minutes.
Round burner bases
The rotmd burner bases are not remo_d_le.
Only the caps may be removed for cleaning.
To clean the btlrner bases, use soapy water
and a plastic scom_ing pad. _,ViI)e clean with
a damp cloth.
Make sm'e no water gets into the bm'ner
bases. Mlow them to fldlv dry befi_re using.
Replacement
I_eplace the burner caps. Make sure that
the caps are replaced in the correct
location. There is one oval centei'} C_ll)
