Replacing Motherboard Components
Follow these instructions to replace motherboard compo-
nents, including the motherboard.
3.4.1 Disconnecting All Motherboard Cables
Before replacing the motherboard or certain components,
remove cables connected to the motherboard. Follow these
instructions to remove all motherboard cabling.
1. Disconnect the ATX power and the TYFP3 cables and
fan cables.
2. Disconnect the SAS/SATA hard drive cables and USB
cables. Refer to the mainboard layout for the locations.

3. Repeat the same steps to disconnect all cables from the
other motherboard if necessary.
