Repeat step 7 for all the email addresses.
To delete an email address, select the target address in the list and click Delete. You can
choose multiple addresses and delete them at once.
To change an email address, select the target address in the list and perform the same operation
for adding an address.

Click Apply to apply the settings to the storage system.

Sending a Test Email

After configuring the settings for email notice, send a test email to confirm that the settings are
operating correctly.
To send a test email:
1.
Log in to Remote Web Console, and open the E-mail Information window (see
Information Window" (page

Change to Modify mode (see
if you need instructions).
3.
Make sure that Mail Notice is set to Enable and that the settings in the window are correct.
4.
Click Test Send. A confirmation message appears.
5.
Click OK.
6.
Confirm that mail clients received the email with the reference code 7FFFFF.
An example of a test email is as follows:

Date and time when an email was sent. The mail server decides this information.
Email address of the receiver.
Email address of the sender.
Email address to which replies from the receivers will be sent. Optional.
Email title. Cannot be changed.
Date when a SIM occurred.
Time when a SIM occurred.
Name and serial number of the storage system.
Reference code. The same code as reported by SNMP traps.
SIM details. The same information as reported by SNMP traps.
