Press the MENU button

Change settings for AF assist illumination.
Auto (default setting)
AF-assist illumination will be used to assist the focus operation when the subject is
poorly lit. The illuminator
has a range of about 3.5 m (11 ft. 5 in.) at the maximum
wide-angle
position and 2.5 m (8 ft.) at the maximum telescopic position.
However, the AF-assist illumination
will not turn on in some scene modes even if
Auto is selected ([_137-41).
Off
Disable this function. The camera may be unable to focus if lighting is poor.

Adjust the following
sound settings.
Button sound
Turn the button
sound On or Off. When On (default setting) is selected, a beep
will sound once when operations are completed
successfully, twice when the
focus has been locked, and three times when an error is detected, and Start-up
sound will also play when the camera is turned on.
Shutter Sound
Choose shutter sound from On (default setting) or Off.
