Large apertures (expressed by small hnumbers) let more light into the camera, and small apertures
(large 5numbers) let lesslight,
The aperture value of the zoom lens of this camera changes depending on the zoom position. When
zooming to the wide angle position and telephoto zoom position, the aperture values are f/3 and
f/5.9, respectively.

Even when the mode dial is set to U (User settings) mode, you can shoot in P (Programmed auto),
S (Shutter priority auto), A (Aperture priority auto) or M (Manual), The setting combinations (User
